If youโve shopped with me for any amount of time, you probably already know one thing: I genuinely LOVE this stuff. Give me sequins, rhinestones, bright colors, oversized sweatshirts, funky accessories, and anything that gives a little dopamine boost, and Iโm sold.
The Edit started because I wanted to create the kind of place I would want to shop โ somewhere fun, welcoming, a little unexpected, and never stuffy. I don't want you to feel like you're shopping from some faceless website. There is a very real woman behind this screen who is probably thinking about something she forgot about three hours ago, answering messages, opening 47 boxes, buying things she absolutely did not need to buy for the store, and saying,
โWAIT. YโALL HAVE TO SEE THIS.โ
๐ I handpick the things we carry, and if I wouldnโt wear it, gift it, obsess over it, or immediately text a friend a picture of itโฆ I probably donโt want to sell it.
But my favorite part of this business isnโt actually the clothes. Itโs you.
Itโs getting to know my customers. Itโs helping you find something that makes you feel GOOD. Itโs recognizing your name when your order comes through. Itโs laughing with you on lives, helping you pick an outfit, and occasionally talking you into the completely unnecessary sparkly thing because, quite frankly, we both know you need it. Iโm not trying to build a perfectly polished boutique. Iโm building a place that feels like shopping with your friend โ the one who tells you, โYES, BUY IT,โ hypes you up when you try it on, and would absolutely choose the sequins over the sensible option.
